New Holland Construction’s versatile new wheel loader model LW130TC is an integrated tool carrier with the breakout force needed for digging operations and the capability to run a variety of work tools.

The LW130TC features power-to-weight ratios, excellent stability and fast performance and is especially well-suited to large site contractors who require multiple-use machines on their job sites.

According to Dave Lynes, product manager for wheel loaders at New Holland Construction, “The cost of machine ownership and maintenance has made multiple-purpose machines, like tool carriers, popular with cost-conscious contractors. Tool carriers are extremely versatile machines which can quickly change from a bucket to any number of attachments, and can do several tasks well. With one machine, you can move palletized materials with forks, use a bucket for load and carry applications, sweep up the job site with a hydraulic broom and change from one attachment to the next while seated in the cab using the machine’s quick-attach coupling system.”

The LW130TC is specifically suited to working with loads, such as pallets, that need to be kept level during the lift and lower cycle but where outstanding performance is still critical. It is fitted with parallel lift linkage in place of the standard “Z” beam arms. The parallel lift linkage has sight openings down the middle of the linkage to allow the operator to see the tines when using forks. The linkage also offers operators a greater height reach, and allows them to keep a load level at all points in the lift cycle.

The wheel loader’s quick coupler system allows contractors to take advantage of the wide range of attachments. Attachment changes can be made within minutes. A variety of attachments manufactured for use with the LW130TC include construction utility forks, extendable boom, broom, log and lumber forks, loader rake and loader rake with hydraulic clamps. A selection of specialized buckets include a grapple bucket, general purpose, light material, wood chip, rock, multi-purpose and side-dump buckets.

In applications where materials need to be transported over rough ground, the LW130TC can be equipped with a Load Travel Stabilizer (LTS.) This incorporates an accumulator on the lift cylinders circuit, and provides vibration damping. LTS is activated via a switch in the cab, and when selected, will automatically operate at speeds above 6.9 kilometers per hour (4.3 mph).

The LW130TC, a mid-sized wheel loader, provides smooth, efficient operation for all-day comfort. Like all New Holland Construction wheel loaders, it is exceptionally quiet when running.

An air-conditioned operator station and excellent visibility allows operators to work faster and more efficiently. Because ease of service and reduced maintenance costs were design priorities, the series LW models offer enhances overall operating costs.
