NJ’s Brick Recycling ’Metal Drive’ to Aid Hurricane Victims

Brick Recycling has announced a “Metal Drive” to benefit victims of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Community members, construction companies, and municipalities are encouraged to contribute scrap metals, including light iron, autos, steel, copper, brass, aluminum, aluminum cans etc. at Brick’s Recycling’s location at 2480 Old Hooper Ave., Brick,NJ. Brick Recycling will process these materials and donate their equivalent value to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund during the entire month of November.

This drive affords an opportunity to help disaster victims in an environmentally-responsible fashion by recycling materials. Brick Recycling will provide contributors with a receipt upon delivery.

Peter DeCenzo*-, president of Brick Recycling Company Inc. stated that the family-owned business has been in operation more than six years and is pleased to offer its resources for the community to aid the victims of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. The business also wishes to bring unused or unwanted recyclable materials to current and future beneficial use.
