RDO Equipment to Host California Big Iron Expo

- West Edition

Riverside will host the California Big Iron Expo May 1 to 3. The expo will take place at a construction work site a few miles away from RDO Equipment Company’s Riverside location, which is at 20 Iowa Ave.

The expo is a joint effort among four RDO Equipment Co. John Deere stores (Riverside, Poway, Indio and Imperial) and three Vermeer Pacific stores (Fontana, San Marcos and Rancho Dominguez).

Foundation Expo Partners for the event include Western Power, Trimble, Poma Fuel, Topcon and Michelin. Other supporters are John Deere, Hammerhead, Veeco, Hilbrick and Sakai.

The event is for contractors — both current and prospective customers — to give them a better understanding of RDO Equipment Co. and the comprehensive business solutions the company provides.

Holding the event on a work site gives attendees a chance to “get dirty” by operating and viewing first-hand what the equipment can do.

“Customers will have the chance to ride and drive over 25 different machines and will also have an opportunity to talk to factory product specialists about the particular equipment they are interested in,” said Rick Ayers, general manager of RDO Equipment Co. — Riverside.

Other benefits for attendees include education about the CARB emissions regulations, how they will affect California businesses, and the three solutions RDO Equipment Co. provides; along with discussing product efficiencies, applications, trends and services with product specialists and professional operators.

Tamara Jalbert, expo director, said that this event shows how RDO Equipment Co. is stepping up efforts to find new and creative ways to drive business.

“We’re investing in a venue and business partnerships that showcase RDO Equipment Co.’s comprehensive product line of proven and reliable solutions for the issues customers face today,” said Jalbert.
