Astec Industries exhibited a wide range of asphalt road building equipment, aggregate processing equipment and more. Berco introduced its new titanium line of track systems at bauma. MB Crusher had an attention-getting exhibit at  bauma 2019 with demonstrations throughout the show. Brian DePaul, northeast sales manager for the U.S. market of Avant. was ready to greet the hundreds of thousands of visitors to bauma 2019. Volvo CE put its equipment in action in a demonstration area. Prinoth touted its RAPTOR 500, which in combination with its M700 mulching attachment, is designed for tough applications and rough terrain. Travis Colwell of Carlson Paving was proud to show off this CP65 wheeled paver at bauma 2019. Contractors in the overseas market do not put their equipment on trailers as much as contractors in the States and this paver can be driven from job site to job site. Wacker Neuson was a prominent exhibitor in the outdoor area at bauma 2019. France-based manufacturer Mecalac touted its MCR crawler skid excavator and more at bauma 2019. LiuGong recently celebrated a milestone when it manufactured its 400,000th wheel loader and it was proud to tout that achievement at bauma 2019.

ForSite International was at bauma 2019 in Munich, Germany, showcasing this 5-ft. SharpGrade Leveller working on an Avant 635 loader. A Doosan DX520LC excavator with a Geith bucket was among the many pieces of equipment on display at the company’s outdoor exhibit. Dressta dozers catch the attention of passersby at bauma 2019. Genesis premiered its GRX 395 Razor at bauma. The Wirtgen Group had an expansive outdoor display at bauma 2019. Liebherr’s expansive exhibit area consistently drew huge crowds during bauma 2019. At the Astec Industries KPI-JCI exhibit, visitors could play some tubular ping pong Jaakko Lipsanen, product manager of ALLU, stands by the M3-25 TS50 bucket. Atlas Copco displayed its E-Air V1100 VSD generator among other items at bauma. Epiroc draws a crowd at its outdoor exhibit. Luke Kurth, product marketing manager, motorgraders, John Deere Worldwide Construction and Forestry Division, stands in front of the Deere 622 GP motorgrader. Gomaco displayed its Xtreme Commander III curb and gutter machine at bauma 2019. Kubota welcomes bauma visitors to its outdoor exhibit.

The small Cast 33T loader, whose North American distributor is Top Notch, Rogers, Minn., made a big impression at bauma. Hitachi exhibited an extensive collection of equipment at bauma 2019. bauma 2019 looked like an amusement park from an aerial vantage point. At bauma 2029 (L-R) were Jeremy Torgerson, director of sales; Ken Boehm, vice president of sales and operations; and Len Kirk, retired president, current board of directors, all of Hayden-Murphy Equipment Company, Bloomington, Minn.

With more than 620,000 visitors from more than 200 countries, bauma 2019 generated the best results in the exhibition's 65-year history from April 8 to 14.

The number of visitors rose by approximately 40,000 over the total drawn during the previous event in 2016. More than 250,000 visitors came from countries outside Germany. The top 10 visitor countries after Germany were: Austria, Italy, Switzerland, France, the Netherlands, Russia, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Poland and Great Britain. The trade fair also experienced a strong increase in attendance from overseas visitors. Significant gains in this group were produced by China, Australia and Japan. More than 5,500 visitors came from China, alone. The number of exhibitors totaled approximately 3,700 from 63 countries, also a record.

During the 2019 edition, exhibitors unveiled a huge number of innovations and new products to the trade fair's global visitors. Zeppelin/Caterpillar, for instance, introduced more than 20 world premieres. CEG
