More than 2,750 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros.â multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in North East, Md., on Dec. 17.
Bidders came from 45 countries, including all 50 U.S. states. Approximately 82 percent of the equipment was sold to out-of-state buyers, from as far away as Singapore, Germany and the United Arab Emirates. Online bidders purchased approximately 50 percent of the equipment sold.
Close to 2,600 equipment items and trucks were sold in the auction, including more than 90 compactors, 75-plus excavators, 30 wheel loaders, more than 80 scissor lifts, 45-plus boom lifts, more than 45 dump trucks, 105 truck tractors, 55-plus trailers, and more.
