More than 1,700 bidders registered to participate in the Ritchie Bros. unreserved public auction on May 13 in Morris, Ill., a suburb of Chicago. Online and in-person bidders came from 23 countries, including 45 U.S. states and all 10 Canadian provinces. More than 1,300 items were sold in the multi-million dollar auction with 60-percent of the equipment (based on dollar value) leaving the state of Illinois.
