Ritchie Bros. Hosts More Than 2,000 Onsite, Online Bidders in Md.; Company Honors Long-Time Employee

Ritchie Bros. held an auction at its North East, Md., facility on Dec. 14.

More than 2,000 onsite and online bidders participated in the auction, with more than three-quarters coming from outside Maryland. Onsite bidders purchased nearly two-thirds of the equipment for sale. In all, more than 1,300 equipment items were sold.

During the auction, a service award presentation was made to Darrel Yoder, an employee retiring after 27 years with Ritchie Bros. During his tenure with the company, he served as auctioneer at sites around the world. In addition, the auction booth at the North East, Md., facility was named in his honor.
