Spazzarini Construction Company, founded in 1921 by Antonio Spazzarini, an immigrant seeking a better life for his family, has been serving Connecticut for nearly a century.

Located in Enfield, Conn., the company serves clients throughout all of north-central Connecticut and western Massachusetts.

The family-run business uses the approximately 45 pieces of heavy machinery in its fleet to provide the state of Connecticut with a full range of services including: general contracting, roads/bridges, site preparation, grading/paving, septic systems and snow removal. Current projects include road reconstruction contracts in South Windsor, Enfield and Windsor, Conn., and a new dormitory at Suffield Academy in Suffield, Conn.

Working With Someone You Can Count On

Spazzarini established a relationship with Barry Equipment approximately five years ago when it had two Terex machines that needed to be serviced — a 225 excavator and a TXL 200-2 loader. Spazzarini was pleased with Barry's service department and decided to expand its fleet with Barry Equipment's Doosan line.

Spazzarini purchased its first new Doosan DX80 mini-excavator the same year. Shortly after, it purchased a DX300 LC excavator and a DL300 wheel loader.

“You can't beat the product support, warranty program and competitive price that you receive from a Doosan,” said Mark Spazzarini of Spazzarini Construction. “To me, it seems like a no brainer to go with them. When a problem arises, Bryan Morris, sales representative of Barry Equipment, ensures that we receive a prompt turnaround. He really does a great job taking care of us: from helping us select the right machine, assisting us with questions along the way, and handling any issues we may have on the field later on down the road. He has made our relationship with Barry a great one to have.”

Over the five-year business relationship, Spazzarini Construction has purchased in total from Barry Equipment three Doosan excavators and two Doosan loaders.
