Technicians, Finishers Attend King of Prussia Equipment Service Seminar

On Nov. 6, King of Prussia Equipment hosted a one-day service seminar with MQ-Whiteman, a manufacturing company of concrete construction equipment.

Tommy Tucker, senior field service manager, conducted the seminar, which concentrated on Whiteman ride-on power trowels and walk-behind trowels. King of Prussia had both a hydro-static 8 ft. ride-on trowel and 4 ft. walk behind Whiteman trowels available for hands-on servicing.

The service school began at 8 a.m. for the 15 participants consisting of mechanics and finishers from 8 companies based out of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The school ended at 3:30 p.m. with a question and answer period.

Coffee and donuts as well as lunch was provided by King of Prussia Equipment. MQ-Whiteman provided notepads, pens and door prizes for each participant.

Students were educated on the proper maintenance and servicing. Primary topics were lubrication, necessary greasing and fuel issues, especially with the new fuel tier levels.
