Texas-based auctioneers Machinery Auctioneers, has completed the renovation and is preparing for its first big auction in Batesville, Miss. There have been nearly a dozen jobs created by the expansion of the company to Mississippi, and economic stimulation will be not far behind. One auction will provide millions in local revenue, and will bring in visitors from all over the country.

“We have grown our business exponentially in the past six years by really caring about our clients and our buyers alike. Our goal is to create a marketplace where fair market prices are paid for high quality machinery, and to have both buyer and seller leave satisfied with the price of the machinery,” said Terry Dickerson, Machinery Auctioneers.

The Auction on May 24 featured more than 100 big trucks and trailers as well as construction machinery such as backhoes, dozers and forklifts. Most of the machinery is coming from the depressed oilfield markets in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas.

Machinery Auctioneers of Mississippi will be led by JB and Trey Dickerson, Terry Dickerson's son and nephew.
