Monroe Truck Equipment Inc., founded in 1958, is a leading manufacturer and installer of products in the custom trailer, municipal snow and ice, and commercial work truck industries. It goes to market under its Towmaster and Monroe Truck Equipment brands through seven Midwest locations and distribution partners throughout the United States and Canada.

Towmaster, it's Litchfield, Minn., based subsidiary and a leading custom, heavy-trailer manufacturer, recently announced the hiring of Mike Albers as its general manager to support the company's future growth initiatives. Albers will be leading both Towmaster's trailer and truck equipment divisions, utilizing his 25 years of operational excellence and business leadership.

Albers has a broad background in metal fabrication and OEM manufacturing, most recently serving as vice president of operations of a highly successful custom trailer manufacturer based in the Midwest.
