Atlantic Drill & Equipment Company, based in Woodstock, Va., recently hired Ridley Judd as its new inside sales representative. Judd has more than 14 years of experience in the foundation drilling industry, including expertise as a purchasing agent for Dulles Industries — part of a major contracting company that specializes in earth retention and foundation drilling.
Specifically, Judd’s areas of expertise include segmented casing, grouting equipment, down-the-hole hammer equipment and tooling. His primary responsibility will be to work with customers to best define their needs and work with Atlantic Drill’s outside sales team as an inside technical expert. He also will assist with the company’s marketing strategy and inventory control.
“Our customers will benefit tremendously from Ridley’s extensive knowledge of the industry and his ability to speak the language of contractors in the foundation drilling industry,” said Scott Bruce, Atlantic Drill’s sales manager. “With the addition of him, we now collectively have a sales team with more than 80 years of experience with segmented casing and foundation drilling and grout equipment.”
