Vermeer Texas-Louisiana celebrated the grand opening of its relocated Baton Rouge branch on May 17.
Vermeer Texas- Louisiana, an underground construction, tree care and landscaping equipment dealer with 12 locations across Texas and south Louisiana, celebrated the grand opening of its relocated Baton Rouge branch on May 17.
Located on just over four acres on Airline Highway, the new 14,000 sq. ft. facility will allow Vermeer Texas-Louisiana to carry a wider selection of parts, stock more equipment and provide additional space to service equipment. The new location also will have room to host industry meetings and training events.
More than 125 people attended the grand opening celebration, including Vermeer Corporation CEO Jason Andringa, who was on hand to present Vermeer Texas-Louisiana with the Vermeer Pinnacle Award, an award given to top performing dealerships for success in sales growth, policy compliance and customer service.
Vendors including Vactron, McLaughlin and Baroid also participated in the grand opening. In addition, the Baton Rouge Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony that included leaders from the city and local community ambassadors.
Vermeer Texas-Louisiana Chief Operating Officer Jason Rush had this to say about the new location, "Our new location in Baton Rouge will allow us to better support our South Louisiana customers' needs. We are committed to providing them with first-class service, and this new facility will help us do that."
