New video footage shows Tesla's new semi truck prototype on a test drive in Sunnyvale-California. The video, which was uploaded on YouTube by Brandon Camargo, reveals a Tesla tractor driving at a fairly fast clip, Forbes reported.

The all-black prototype's features include full-size mirrors and one large windshield wiper. But one key element that is missing is the tell-tale truck noise: The Tesla semi is extraordinarily quiet, Forbes reported.

Some additional specs:

  • Tesla semis will have a range of 300 to 500 miles, depending on the size of the battery pack.
  • The four-motor powertrain performance goes from 0 to 60 mph. in 20 seconds with up to 80,000 lbs. of cargo.
  • The 300-mi. model will cost $150,000, and the 500-mi. model will cost $180,000.
