Effective Oct. 1, 2016, Carl Slotte has been appointed the new president of sales region EMEA (Europe — Middle East — Africa) at Volvo Construction Equipment.
With more than 20 years' experience in the construction industry, including senior positions within Volvo CE's global functions, the sales organization and within the dealer network, Slotte will be responsible for meeting the diverse needs of customers in the strategically important EMEA region and strengthening Volvo CE's market position.
Slotte has held a number of leadership positions at Volvo CE, including senior vice president of global key accounts, vice-president of Hub North within sales region EMEA, managing director of Volvo CE Russia (Volvo Vostok ZAO) and managing director of owned dealer Volvo CE Finland OY.
Slotte succeeds Tomas Kuta, who was appointed senior vice president of global sales of Volvo CE in June 2016.
