West Side Tractor Sales hosted an open house at the Lafayette, Ind., store on May 9. More than 300 customers, community partners and employees attended the event. Guests enjoyed food and refreshments, demoed equipment and watched a STIHL chainsaw carving demonstration. Representatives from John Deere, Topcon Positioning Solutions, STIHL, Honda and Scag were also there to support the event.
“West Side has been in Indiana now just over two years and it has been a great experience for our company and our family,” said Steve Benck, president of West Side. “The customers we have built relationships with here are top-notch and share the same passion we do for this industry.”
Earlier in the year, the Lafayette location was presented with STIHL’s Regional Dealer of the Year Award from Bryan Equipment Sales, the Midwest distributor of STIHL’s products. West Side was selected from a group of more than 90 dealers.
“I believe whole heartedly that West Side Tractor represents everything that an outdoor power equipment dealer should strive for,” said Chris Alfeld, territory manager of Bryan Equipment.
