A fire has engulfed a luxury apartment building under construction in suburban Yonkers, New York.

WNBC (http://bit.ly/2pPfbSp ) video shows huge orange flames shooting through the building's three stories and roof on Thursday. The thick, dark smoke was visible from miles away.

No injuries were reported. Firefighters were toiling on an unusually hot day, with temperatures approaching 90 degrees.

The 55-unit complex along the Hudson River on Warburton Avenue was scheduled to open to tenants in the fall.
