Shane Nugent is Deutz Corporation's newest business development manager. Nugent will be responsible for developing and maintaining sales of new Deutz engines, Xchange remanufactured engines and genuine Deutz parts in the mining, construction, rental and ground support equipment (GSE) industries. He'll be tasked with discovering new OEM opportunities and working with existing Deutz OEM customers and end users, with a strong focus on the mining and construction industries.

"I'm very excited to join Deutz, a company with such a long history of excellence in engine manufacturing and service," said Nugent. "I'm eager to get started and help bring Deutz products and services to more customers across the Americas."

Nugent comes to Deutz from his previous position as a sales manager at H-E Parts International, a division of Hitachi Construction.

"Shane's industry experience and background make him excellent addition to our sales team," said Jim Miller, senior business development manager of Deutz Corporation. "The mining industry is an important market for Deutz, and we're pleased to have Shane on board to help us uncover new opportunities both in that industry and the others we serve."

Nugent's sales territory includes the United States and Canada, as well as some parts of Latin America where the mining industry is more prevalent.
