Deutz Corporation has opened a new 160,000-sq. ft. Sequence Center at 596 Bonnie Valentine Way in Pendergrass, Ga., located just 1 mi. from the company's production facility at 1409 Valentine Industrial Pkwy in Pendergrass. "With the new Sequence Center, Deutz is concentrating all operations activities in the Pendergrass area," said Christian Vorspel-Rueter, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Deutz.

Deutz Corporation is introducing its Deutz Power Center concept to the Florida, New Jersey and New York City markets. As of Feb. 14, 2020, Deutz took over sales and service responsibilities for the state of Florida, with plans to launch two Deutz Power Center locations in Jacksonville as well as the Fort Lauderdale metropolitan area.

Deutz Corporation announced two recent changes to its North American distributor network. Hamilton Engine of Portland, Ore., has been acquired by Palmer Johnson Power Systems of Sun Prairie, Wisc. The new company, now known as Hamilton Engine, a Palmer Johnson Company, will now cover not just the state of Oregon, but also the western half of Washington and Alaska.

On Oct. 2, Deutz Corporation partnered with ResourceMFG, an EmployBridge Company, to host Manufacturing Day (MFG DAY) for approximately 40 students from nearby Jackson County Schools and Lanier Technical College. Created by Founding Partner Fabricators and Manufacturers Association, International in 2012 and now produced by the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM), MFG DAY connects the nation's future workforce with potential employers and presents manufacturing careers in a more positive light.

Shane Nugent is Deutz Corporation's newest business development manager. Nugent will be responsible for developing and maintaining sales of new Deutz engines, Xchange remanufactured engines and genuine Deutz parts in the mining, construction, rental and ground support equipment (GSE) industries.

Deutz Service Center Chicago will now be known as Deutz Power Center Great Lakes. The facility, which has served customers in northern and east central Illinois and northern Indiana since September 2017, has expanded its coverage area to include Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

Deutz Corporation announced that it is in discussions regarding a new authorized distributor for Argentina. The new distributor will work closely with the expansive Deutz dealer network, located all across the country to supply engines and parts, in order to support both locally produced, and imported Deutz engines.

Deutz Corporation has expanded its line of under-25 hp engines to better meet the needs of customers who want to efficiently power machines like aerial platforms, welders, trenching equipment and mini skid-steer loaders, as well as equipment for lawn care and pump applications.
