Construction Equipment Guide

Dynapac tracked and wheeled pavers are designed specifically for the North American market and are built in the United States. The F1000T (tracked) and F1000W (wheeled) asphalt pavers are built to handle extreme conditions in remote locations

Constructed with heavy-welded frame construction, the F1000 series are 10-ft. (3 m) wide pavers. The high-performance outboard auger drive and high-capacity slat conveyor system are designed to eliminate center-line segregation.

The Dynapac F1000T and F1000W asphalt pavers feature high-capacity .75 in. (1.9 cm) formed hopper wings that deliver asphalt to the slat conveyor with a wide material tunnel and extra-heavy chains and slats. The conveyor system delivers 600 tons (544 t) per hour of asphalt to either a Carlson EZ III or EZ IV screed to lay mats up to 12-in. (30.5 cm) deep on new placements, and thin overlays on rehabilitation projects.

Dual swing-out operator stations and the lowest deck height in the industry are designed to provide operator visibility for a clear view of the hopper and auger, as well as a full view of work area. The pavers are powered by Cummins QSB-220 Tier III diesel engines with 230 hp (171 kW) at 1,800 rpm.

The Dynapac F1000T and F1000W asphalt pavers also feature an integrated Sauer drive system. The Sauer cartridge valves have a manual override, and the drive system can be disengaged with a manual conveyor tension to move the paver in the event of a major failure. A 36 kW, 60 Hz generator provides full output at low idle for better fuel economy.

The F1000 series is designed to be easy to troubleshoot and service. No daily lubrication is required on the tractor, and two fuel tanks are at ground level for refueling. A single panel at the side gives access to filters, and flip-open doors and a removable top cover provides access to the engine and hydraulic lines. A pressurized hydraulic filtration system with one-piece hydraulic valve manifolds is designed for simple maintenance. The radiator and oil cooler have been designed to withstand pressure washing.

Multi-function controls are grouped for user convenience.
