Finn Corporation introduced the Finn MBL1, its new, entry-level material blower, designed to help contractors and landscapers improve efficiency, reduce material waste and deliver professional-quality results on every job, according to the company.

Built specifically for residential and light commercial applications, the MBL1 provides a practical solution for crews handling smaller jobs, tight-access areas and detail- oriented work. Its compact footprint and towable design make it easy to transport and use on site, while maintaining the Finn-standard durability and reliability, according to the company.

At the core of the MBL1 is a Vanguard 23hp small-block V-Twin EFI engine with electric start, combining dependable performance with excellent fuel efficiency. A continuous-feed hopper ensures steady material flow with fewer interruptions, while a dual gearbox-driven airlock system with auto-reverse technology provides plenty of torque to cut through materials with ease and keep a crew running all day long, according to the company.

With blower performance rated at 500 cfm at 7 psi, operators can place material quickly, evenly and accurately across a variety of job site conditions, according to Finn.

The MBL1 can significantly reduce material waste. Where traditional hand spreading can lead to uneven coverage, over application and material loss — especially in ornamental areas — the MBL1 helps deliver controlled, consistent application which improves coverage quality while reducing excess material costs, according to the company.

Designed to be easy to use for entry-level material blowers, the MBL1 features a simplified 8-button control panel, a user-friendly remote control with start/stop and emergency stop functions and onboard telematics for monitoring and diagnostics. These controls make the machine easy to learn and operate, especially for first-time users, which helps crews get up to speed quickly and work more efficiently, according to Finn.

The MBL1's compact design maximizes capability while providing a manual hose reel with 100 ft. of 4-in. EcoStrike hose, giving crews the reach and flexibility needed for residential mulch jobs, ornamental areas and hard-to-access spaces. This extended reach reduces unnecessary material handling and repositioning, further improving job site efficiency and minimizing waste. The lightweight, maneuverable unit is easy to transport and store, and has a small footprint, making it an ideal solution for small to mid-sized landscaping businesses and owner-operators, according to the company.

Positioned as a true entry-level machine, the MBL1 focuses on doing one job exceptionally well: placing mulch and landscape materials faster, more evenly and with less physical labor than traditional methods. For contractors currently relying on wheelbarrows and hand spreading, the biggest advantage is the combination of faster installation times and more precise material usage, which helps lower material costs and establish more predictable job margins. Crews can complete jobs more consistently, reduce rework and deliver a higher-quality result, according to Finn.

Ideal for residential landscape contractors, property maintenance crews, and businesses installing moderate volumes of mulch annually, the MBL1 delivers a strong return on investment by helping crews access a truly smarter way to work — one that maximizes both time and material efficiency, while keeping operation simple. Finn's standard one-year warranty backs the Finn MBL1, ensuring dependable support and serviceability.
