GreyStone Inc., based in Columbus, Neb., offers a full line of conveyor systems with lengths ranging from 50 to 200 ft. (15 to 61 m), custom-designed to meet specific application needs. GreyStone’s conveyor line includes standard- and heavy-duty portable conveyors, radial stackers and tower radial stackers that deliver material flow capacities from 300 to 1,300 tons (272 to 1,179 t) per hour.
Conveyor belt widths vary from 24 to 54 in. (61 to 137 cm), depending on conveyor model. In addition, GreyStone manufactures overland conveyors that are custom-designed to meet the specific demands of the customer. Overland conveyors come in lengths up to 2,500 ft. (762 m) with belt widths up to 72 in. (183 cm), and deliver a maximum material flow capacity of 3,700 tph (3,356 t).
All GreyStone conveyor systems have standard CEMA idlers and a lagged-head pulley design with a rubber-coated gripping surface that ensures a tighter hold on conveyor belts to minimize slippage. A self-cleaning, wing-type tail pulley eliminates debris build-up and allows the belt to run true, reducing belt damage. Two-ply, 220 or 330 conveyor belts with a 0.19-in. (0.5 cm) top cover and 0.06-in. (0.15 cm) bottom cover reduce belt wear and ensure long life with minimal downtime.
All GreyStone conveyor systems feature shaft-mounted gear reducers. The truss structures feature top-grade steel and detailed welding.
For operations on the move, GreyStone manufactures compact stackable field conveyor systems. With idlers nested below the conveyor top cords, GreyStone field conveyors easily stack on trailers for quick transport.
Standard-duty portable conveyors come in 50- and 60-ft. (15 and 18 m) lengths. With belt widths of 24, 30, 36 and 42 in. (61, 76, 91 and 106 cm), they offer material flow capacities from 300 to 1,050 tph (272 to 952 t).
GreyStone’s heavy-duty portable radial stackers can be designed with 100, 110 and l20-ft. (30, 33 and 36 m) lengths and 24-, 30-, 36-, 42- and 48-in. (61, 76, 91, 106 and 122 cm) belt widths. Heavy-duty series conveyors are capable of carrying up to 1,300 tph.
All portable radial stackers more than 60 ft. (18.3 m) long feature a 20-ft. (6 m) sectional-fold design — where one end of the 80-ft. (24 m) conveyor or both top and bottom ends of longer portable conveyors fold — reducing overall length for travel.
GreyStone radial stackers include a standard radial power travel and a raise/lower feature to assist in moving the conveyor. With 18-, 24-, 30-, 36-, 42- and 48-in. belt widths, these radial stackers are capable of moving up to 1,050 tph of material flow over 80-, 90-, 100-, 110-, 120- and 125-ft. (24, 27 30, 33, 36 and 38 cm) lengths.
GreyStone tower radial stackers deliver maximum material flow. Offering ultimate stockpiling control, these heavy-duty conveyors reach lower to the ground than traditional conveyors, reducing the possibility of stockpile segregation. Available in 100-, 120- and l50-ft. (30, 36 and 46 m) lengths and a choice of 24-, 30-, 36-, 42-, 48- and 54-in. (61, 76, 91, 106, 122 and 137 cm) belt widths, these rugged tower conveyors can carry up to 1,300 tph.
GreyStone overland conveyors provide an alternative to sometimes expensive and inefficient trucking costs when moving material over roads, hills, valleys, tunnels, bridges or other long distances. These conveyors are custom-designed for each customer, depending on the type and volume of material being handled, terrain and climate. They can be set directly on the ground or elevated using the attached overland supports.
GreyStone manufactures a complete line of portable and semi-portable washing/screening plants, sand classification tanks and systems, single and twin fine material dewatering screws, single and twin coarse material washers, log washers, advanced computer control systems, portable sand plants, water clarifiers, rotary and vibrating screens, portable conveyors and radial stackers, blade mills, dewatering screens, portable screening plants, twin jets, cutter heads and aggregate reclaiming systems.
