Eagle Crusher

Hills Machinery Company LLC announced Nov. 8 that it has partnered with Prophet Equity II LP to make an equity investment to acquire an interest in Hills Machinery. Headquartered in Columbia, S.C., with seven locations that serve North and South Carolina, Hills is one of the largest Case Construction dealerships in the United States, with a focus on heavy equipment offered by Case Construction, Terex Trucks, a full line of recycling products, and other leading construction equipment manufacturers.

Recycling asphalt not only makes environmental sense, but, as Southern Asphalt of Conway, S.C., is proving, it makes good business sense, too. By using up to 20 percent recycled asphalt product (RAP) in his milling and paving operation, Nick Godwin, Southern's co-owner, is realizing significant cost savings in rock, sand and liquid — so much so, in fact, that he estimates his new Eagle crushing plant will pay for itself in two years.

Eagle Crusher Co., Inc. announced the recent addition of Hills Machinery Co. to its list of U.S. distributors. Hills Machinery will represent the full line of Eagle Crusher heavy-duty crushing and screening equipment for the recycle concrete, asphalt, aggregate and sand and gravel industries in North and South Carolina.

Eagle Crusher Company Inc. announced the appointment of AggTech Inc. in Jenison, MI, as its exclusive dealer in the state of Michigan. Established in 1997 by Mark and Marilyn Fellows, AggTech specializes in processing equipment for the recycling, sand and gravel, crushed stone and soil industries.
