ASV Holdings Inc. has expanded product availability with new dealers and dealer locations across the United States. ASV added Construction Machinery Industrial with four locations in Alaska, as well as Robinson, Texas-based Construction Edge Equipment.

A new affordable housing community is in the pipeline for Broward County, Fla. The Coral Gables-based development firms Coral Rock Development Group and the Paragon Group of Florida are building a $30 million affordable housing townhome complex, Highland Oaks, in Pompano Beach, according to a press release.

The National NBT45 is fully compliant with both crane and aerial lifting standards for increased utilization as a 45 ton crane or 1200 lb.

Work continues on the $2.3 billion reimagining of Interstate 4 in and around Orlando, Fla. The highway reconstruction project, begun in 2015, has entered Area 4, a 6-mi. stretch through the Altamonte Springs suburb north of the city. Recent work in this zone involved a series of night picks to set girders for a new bridge over Wymore Road.

The Lane Construction Corporation, the U.S. subsidiary of Webuild Group (formerly Salini Impregilo), has been awarded the Poinciana Parkway Phase 2 design-and-build contract in Osceola County, Fla. The contract is valued at $93 million. The project involves widening the expressway from two to four lanes for approximately 7 mi., construction of a 6,500-ft.-long bridge parallel to a bridge built in 2015, two toll gantries, two bridges over local roads, and more than 6,000 linear ft.

Astec Industries announced Alta Equipment is its newest distributor of Roadtec products. Roadtec's asphalt paving equipment will be available in Florida on Alta Equipment's integrated dealer network, one of the largest in the nation. In early September, Daniel Samess, CEO of the Greater Marathon Chamber of Commerce, penned an article in a local newspaper that his Florida Keys community "is experiencing a building boom most haven't seen here in decades." His piece in Keys Weekly said that despite violent storms, COVID-19, dengue fever and murderous hornets, the islands of Marathon have been growing and improving since Hurricane Wilma roared through the area in 2005.
