Road Builders Machinery & Supply Co., Inc.

In 1985, Phil McCoy started a construction equipment company in Kansas City with one explicit mission: Combine the highest quality equipment with top-notch service to provide the customer with the best options possible. Three decades later, McCoy serves as the president of RoadBuilders, guiding the company with the same values he started with. Four years after starting the company, RoadBuilders became an exclusive Komatsu dealer. In 1992, the company broke into the industrial machining and engine rebuilding business. And in 2000, the company greatly expanded its footprint by adding three locations in Omaha, Lincoln, and Grand Island, Nebraska. This expansion was followed eight years later by the acquisition of a location in Springfield, Missouri. Over 30 years, RoadBuilders has grown substantially and yet it remained faithful to its core value of putting the customer first.
