Thompson Pump's new RECON2000T control panel with enhanced interactive technology will be featured at WEFTEC 2017, the world's largest annual water quality technical conference and exhibition held Oct. 2-4 in Chicago. Thompson Pump manufactures top-quality pumps and related equipment, and provides engineering expertise for dewatering operations for construction, municipal/public works, bypass and emergency applications.

Thompson Pump's new RECON2000T control panel with enhanced functions using interactive technology allows for remote pump control and monitoring, and reduces the time and labor needed on-site. The innovative control panel allows you to operate the pump and supervise performance from a smartphone, laptop, desktop computer or any other device with Internet access.

Thompson Pump will be kicking off the 2017 CONEXPO-Con/AGG with a distinctive new idea; the company is unveiling its concept “Pump of the Future” at the conference in Las Vegas, March 7-11. Thompson Pump manufactures top-quality pumps and related equipment, and provides engineering expertise for dewatering operations for construction, bypass and emergency applications.

Thompson Pump and Manufacturing Company Inc. recognized James Copeland as its 2013 branch manager of the year. James Copeland is the branch manager of Thompson’s Summerville, S.C., branch location where he not only oversees branch operations and manages branch personnel, but also is heavily involved in providing pump rentals, sales and support to 26 counties throughout the state of South Carolina.

Thompson Pump and Manufacturing Co. Inc., a full-service provider of pumps, pumping equipment and engineering expertise, announced the winner of the Gator Giveaway Sweepstakes. The grand prize of the sweepstakes is a John Deere XUV 825i Gator camo utility vehicle with an estimated retail value of $13,500.

Thompson Pump has announced that Bobby Thompson is its branch manager of the year. Of the 21 Thompson Pump branch operations nationwide, Bobby Thompson is the manager of the Panama City, Fla., location and recently was promoted to territory manager, which extends from Mobile, Ala., to Tallahassee, Fla., and includes southwestern Georgia and portions of southern Alabama.

Thompson Pump and Manufacturing Co. Inc., a full-service provider of pumps, pumping equipment and engineering expertise, introduced the 6-in. (15 cm), high-head 6JCC pump. The portable 6JCC pump delivers 1,100 gallons-per-minute (4,164 L), high heads to 490 ft.

Thompson Pump’s Compact pump series combines the benefits of the Thompson Pump JSC series with the benefits of a smaller compact size — lighter weight, fewer parts, less maintenance and lower price. The Thompson compact pump is 35 percent smaller and 20 percent lighter but offers the same performance as a standard size pump with 24-hour run time fuel tank, according to the manufacturer.
