Two new Cat Next Generation wheeled excavators — the Cat M314 and M318 — feature multiple design updates that boost machine efficiency and lower long-term operating costs. Advanced hydraulics more efficiently power attachments, including Cat tiltrotators to increase machine flexibility at the job site.

Liebherr USA Co. Construction Equipment is displaying the high performance L 556 XPower wheel loader and the A 914 Litronic wheeled excavator at Waste Expo in Las Vegas from May 6 through 9, 2019. The Liebherr-XPower driveline on the L 556 XPower wheel loader offers reduced operating costs, lower fuel consumption and increased working efficiency that allows the machine to maneuver in the toughest waste industry conditions, according to the manufacturer.

City and county governments face a unique set of challenges. They are local. They are funded mostly by taxpayers. Weighing 39,295 lb (17,823 kg), the XL 3300 V designed and manufactured by Gradall Industries has a 4 x 4 wheeled undercarriage that can be driven up to 20 mph both on and off pavement. This machine is also the only on/off highway excavator that can work at the front, rear or either side of the undercarriage without the need to lower its optional outriggers or optional grading blade for extra stability.

The new Cat M315F and M317F compact radius wheeled excavators are additions to the recently launched Cat F Series wheeled excavator range, reflecting the same customer focused design concept of their conventional radius counterparts, but providing customers the added choice of compactness.
