Komatsu’s new CK30-1 compact track loader is available through Road Machinery’s seven locations in Arizona, California, New Mexico, Texas, and Mexico.

The 9,590 lb. (4,350 kg) unit can operate in a variety of material handling applications while reducing damage to the working surface.

“Our new line of compact track loaders — starting with the CK30-1 — offers our customers another option in their compact construction equipment needs,” said Bob Lessner, director, product marketing, Komatsu America Corp. “Based on our successful skid steer loader design, we’ve built a powerful track loader capable of better traction and flotation in the most challenging terrains.”

Specifications

The CK30-1 is equipped with a Komatsu four-cyclinder, direct injection, turbocharged, S4D98E-2NFE EPA Tier 2 engine, with 84 net hp at 2,500 RPM.

The machine has an operating load of 2,380 lb. (1,073 kg) at 35 percent of tipping load, 3,400 lb. (1,542 kg) at 50 percent of tipping load, a tipping load of 6,800 lb. (3,084 kg), and has a bucket breakout force of 4,978 lb. (2,258 kg).

The standard two-speed transmission allows the operator to match ground speeds to the work at hand. The Komatsu compact track loader can work smoothly on soft and sandy surfaces, in wet and muddy conditions, and in rough terrain, through enhanced traction and flotation.

The CK30-1’s rubberized tracks minimize damage to the working surface — such as established lawns or sidewalks.

Powerful Standard

Hydraulic System

Komatsu’s Automatic Power Control allows the operator to work at peak performance and power without worrying about engine stall out.

The CK30-1’s hydraulic system features as standard equipment an auxiliary hydraulic circuit with a flow of 21 gal. per minute (79 L) at a maximum pressure of 3,046 psi.

Komatsu’s Closed Load Sensing System (CLSS) also comes as a standard option. It ensures maximum bucket control during single and simultaneous bucket movements, critical in grading, loading and digging applications where precise maneuvering is required.
