Katie Murray and Tripp Myers, both of Trader Tripps in Wayne (L) and Forrest Mendenhall have been putting on successful sales for many years. The sale included an assortment of machines that attracted bidders from much of the southeast. Paul (L) and Donna Lamb of DPD Acquisitions in Julian, N.C., look over the New Holland and John Deere backhoes.

On Oct. 17, Mendenhall Auto Auction Inc. held a surplus auction for the city of Winston Salem, and also was selling for Winston Salem City Surplus, area contractors and farmers, among others.
