Murphy Tractor & Equipment Co. Inc. held a grand opening event May 6 for its new facility in Kansas City, Mo. More than 450 customers enjoyed lunch and toured the new facility.

The new 45,000 sq. ft. facility, located at 8600 NE Parvin Rd, one mile east of Interstate 435, sits on 9.5 acres and includes 11 service bays, large parts and sales departments, a spacious equipment yard and easy truck access.

During the grand opening event, John Deere product consultants were on hand to show equipment features on new products to customers, who were able to try their hand at the John Deere operator training excavator and motorgrader simulators. The simulators are a cost-effective, safe, and efficient way to train new operators in a risk-free environment.

Customers also had the opportunity to win valuable door prizes donated by manufacturers.
