B&R Equipment Co. Inc. in Keller, Texas, has been named a Nor/Am dealer in North Texas, according to David Watson, vice president of Nor/Am.

B&R Equipment now becomes one of the dealers responsible for sales, service and parts from the Red River down to the Waco area of Texas.

“We are pleased to have dealers such as B&R Equipment on our team, especially since they are steeped in the philosophy that you should be a full service dealer for what you sell,” Watson said.

Ron Jacobson, vice president and general manager of B&R Equipment Co. Inc., said the company was established in 1997 with 3 employees. The company now has 20 employees and two locations.

B&R Equipment follows the motto that the company should provide customers with solutions for every need.

“Even though B&R is not the largest heavy equipment dealer in North Texas, we pride ourselves in providing the sales of high quality equipment along with rentals and leases, excellent financing, field mechanics, on-site fuel and lube truck service, full service shops and trucking,” Jacobson said.

B&R Equipment employees said they have performed in-depth studies of regional growth and decided to expand from Keller and Argyle to the Sherman/Denison area in order to better serve customers.

In March of 2007, B&R opened a new full-service, 5-acre facility located on Highway 1417 E. in Sherman, Texas. The new facility is equipped with full service bays, field service trucks, extensive parts inventories, trucking and is managed by Wendell Moore.

“The compact Nor/Am fits perfectly with the other fine products that we represent including Doosan, Dynapac light compaction rollers, Kent hammers, Hensley GET, ToothPro buckets and Cummins engines,” concluded Jacobson.
