Ian Williamson (L) and Andrew Coney, both of Powerscreen Mid-Atlantic in Kernersville, N.C., followed the bidding on Powerscreen crushing equipment. The sale drew many contractors from the surrounding states as well as many equipment dealers. Terry Moore (L) of RW Moore and Howard Monroe of ASC Construction Equipment were especially interested in who was bidding on the excavators. Ronnie Byrd of Dominion Equipment Parts in Richmond, Va., and Dan McHugh of Brookside Equipment Sales in Phillipstown, Mass., look to make some contacts. Petrowsky Auctioneers and Lowder Auctioneers conducted a major one-owner public auction of equipment from Mainline Contracting Inc. on Dec. 3 in Durham, N.C.

The sale featured a good selection of John Deere dozers, wheel loaders, skid steers, excavators and other types of equipment. Many trucks and various pieces of compaction equipment also were sold.
