Construction Equipment Guide

PIRTEK’s centers located in southern California have become members of the Southern California Contractors Association (SCCA).

Volunteer-led and governed by its members, SCCA has served the construction industry since 1974. The SCCA regularly appears before dozens of agencies, boards, commissions, regulators, trusts and unions on behalf of its members — saving them millions of dollars in the past 35 years.

When a hose fails, it can cost businesses thousands of dollars in lost productivity. That’s where PIRTEK can help the SCCA members reduce the costs of equipment downtime, idle crews, labor and parts, fuel, overtime and lost opportunity associated with hose failures, according to the company.

“This SCCA membership forwards our sales strategy of ’Market Regionally, Work Locally’ that we are developing with the construction, crane and rigging, and heavy equipment rental markets. With four centers and 16 vans covering southern California, PIRTEK can provide our unique service to our many clients across a wide geographic area. We are excited about leveraging our reach to the entire region,” said Paul Martin, owner of PIRTEK in Long Beach.

Rockledge, Fla.-based PIRTEK is a service provider of ETA 1 Hour On-Site Hose Replacement. PIRTEK offers a 24 hour, 7 day service serving almost every facet of industry including construction, manufacturing, transportation, agriculture and engineering. PIRTEK vans carry the component parts necessary to manufacture hose assemblies on site. Hose and fittings also can be purchased over-the-counter at PIRTEK’s centers, which serve as home base to its mobile fleet. There are more than 40 PIRTEK Hose Service & Supply Centers nationwide and a fleet of more than 200 servicing major metropolitan markets throughout the United States.
