Ken Adair, owner of Pirtek O’Hare, commemorated a decade of business ownership on July 11. The celebration took place at the company’s facility located on 1499 Tonne Road in Elk Grove Village, Ill.
“It feels wonderful to celebrate our 10-year anniversary, especially since this business is one providing a much-needed service to a wide variety of local companies,” said Adair, who opened a second Pirtek location at 17077-A Westside Avenue in 2004.
“The success of this operation is dependent on the satisfaction of my customers, whom I couldn’t have reached this milestone without.”
In addition to a decade of service, Adair showed his appreciation to his loyal customers with a barbecue featuring burgers and bratwurst from Taste Catering and several giveaways, including a drawing for a $200 Home Depot gift card. Corporate representatives from Pirtek USA also were in attendance.
Adair has a total of 12 mobile service vans servicing the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana markets and clients across a variety of industries including construction, manufacturing, trucking and public works.
Adair said he hopes to open a third Chicagoland Pirtek location within the next year and continue to expand his staff and fleet of service vans to assist the largest number of businesses possible.
