SEI Hosts Paving Seminar for Pennsylvania-Area Contractors

Stephenson Equipment Inc. (SEI), of Harrisburg, PA, held its first paving seminar on Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005. More than 130 invited customers attended the seminar, which started at 9 a.m. and lasted through 3 p.m.

The seminar was to provide quality paving techniques, application processes, and quality guidelines for paving contractors.

The guest speaker for the paving seminar was Scott Goff, factory representative of LeeBoy/Rosco Paving Products. In addition, a compaction seminar was part of the day’s events. Bill Nittinger, factory representative of Dynapac, was the guest speaker for this portion of the seminar. Using a Power Point presentation, both speakers provided technique training and quality instruction for the contractors.

The third speaker was Tom Kisilica, factory representative of Cedarapids/CMI Road Building.

Dennis Heller, president and CEO of SEI said, “We were not only pleased with turnout of the event but also the value that it provides for our customers.”

The event included a continental breakfast and buffet luncheon, which was provided by a local Harrisburg caterer, Two Gals.

SEI features a full complement of paving and road maintenance equipment with the principle lines being represented by the guest speakers. The seminar provided valuable information to owners and operators that will help them run their businesses.

The company has branches in Pittsburgh and Lancaster, PA, and Syracuse, NY, with two additional locations slated for 2005 to provide local service and support to contractors in their market area.
