Southern Industrial Constructors Adds New Project Manager

Randy Harmon has joined Southern Industrial Constructors and Southern Crane, full-service industrial contractors, as a project manager for their Raleigh operations.

In his new role, Harmon is responsible for estimating and bidding on new projects. Once projects are awarded, Harmon manages all of their operations, including overseeing the availability, costs and performance of subcontractors, personnel and equipment.

“With more than 25 years of experience managing industrial contracting work, Randy has a great deal of knowledge and skills,” said Ron O’Quinn, senior vice president of operations. “We’re glad he’s a member of the Southern Industrial team.”

For the past 15 years, Harmon served as a project manager on jobs that involved equipment installation and relocation, welding, structural steel installation, new construction, renovation, turnkey plant rearrangements and demolition.
