Stephenson Equipment, located in Syracuse, N.Y., has hired Kirby Coon as territory manager.

He will cover the an area that includes Masena to Binghamton and Rochester to Utica representing pavers, milling machines, industrial mowers, sweepers, hydroseeders, mulchers, graders, belt loaders, mini-excavators and vibratory rollers.

Coon said that he is looking forward to the challenge of a career change as well as learning how to be successful at finding solutions for his clients by critical thinking and planning ahead.

His father, Lon, is manager of Stephenson’s New York operations.
