Tramac Corporation and Tramac Equipment Ltd. celebrated their 40th anniversary in October. To commemorate the occasion Denis Bataille, president, arranged a celebration at the Fairmont Le Manior in Charlevoix, Canada, for all North American employees and spouses; key employees of Tramac Benelux in Belgium joined in the festivities.

Activities included a reception and dinner and a whale watching boat trip. The Manior Richelieu is located between the Saint Lawrence River and mountains.

Tramac Corporation, originally American Tradex, was established in 1966 by Jacques Bataille and continues to be managed by the Bataille family.

In addition to the U.S. operations, which has recently introduced its Muscle Mate brand of attachments, Tramac Equipment Ltd. operates throughout Canada and Tramac-Benelux operates in Belgium and Luxemburg.

In the United States, Tramac markets stationary boom systems and excavator attachments under the Muscle Mate brand.

In Canada, Belgium and Luxemburg hydraulic hammers, plate compactors, excavator attachments and stationary boom systems are marketed.
