John Deere has added a new attachment and made enhancements to several current products in its Worksite Pro line for skid steers and compact track loaders.

The new and updated attachments include two new “dozer” blades, five vibratory rollers, four cold planers, two tillers, and two hydraulic breakers. All of these attachments are backed by John Deere parts, service and warranty coverage.

“These new Worksite Pro attachments further enhance the versatility and productiveness of skid steers and compact track loaders,” said Doug Laufenberg, product marketing manager of John Deere Construction & Forestry Company.

“Rugged design ensures that each of these attachments delivers maximum uptime and productivity in a wide variety of tasks.”

Although optimized to work with John Deere equipment, these attachments also can function effectively with competitive models.

Worksite Pro Dozer Blades

These dozer blades transform a skid steer or compact track loader into a compact bulldozer. The 24-in. (61 cm) high blades come in 84-in. and 96-in. (213 and 244 cm) widths, respectively. A 30-degree hydraulic angle and ten-degree hydraulic tilt feature lets the operator make blade adjustments on the go for increased versatility and maximum productivity. Each blade is Quik-

Tatch mounted and comes standard with a reversible cutting edge and adjustable skid shoes for long-term durability.

Hydraulic Breakers

These new breakers feature a solid one-piece design that does not need side bolts, resulting in a tougher breaker that is practical for a wide variety of heavy-duty applications. They can be used with skid steers, compact track loaders and compact excavators.

The low-pressure, nitrogen-charged design cushions operators from recoil, while the narrow overall shape allows these breakers to work in tight quarters, crowded job sites, and places other breakers can’t.

Instead of a high-pressure accumulator, Worksite Pro breakers employ hydraulics and a gas-assist cycle to develop force, resulting in more efficient operation and high power-to-weight ratios.

With few seals and moving parts, and no special tools necessary, these breakers provide durability and simplified maintenance, according to the manufacturer

Tillers

Two new tillers — in 52 and 66-in. (132 and 167 cm) widths — are available for sod and other landscaping applications. The front edge is designed to level out uneven ground, while a replaceable, abrasion-resistant knife edge allows clean edging next to sod.

A two-position (center or offset) mount on the 66-in. tiller covers wheel tracks or allows a tight cut next to obstacles.

The tillers feature standard dual rotation with bidirectional tires. The scarifier assembly increases productivity by combining the tractive effort and force of the loader with the hydraulic hose power of the tiller. Six-in. (15 cm) tines are available.

Cold Planers

One standard flow and three high flow cold planer models are available for skid steer loaders. These attachments are for milling frost heaves, expansion joints, railroad approaches and other planing applications. They provide independent self-leveling depth adjustment plates that allow for precise lapping cuts and taper cuts. A planetary drive delivers high torque.

These cold planers feature high rear spoil clearance to prevent recirculation of material, as well as protective shields for hydraulic and electrical components. The angled spoil guard wheel design prevents wheels from riding up and over millings, which provides more force to the cutting action.

The wheels also are removable for planing next to curbs and other obstructions.

Vibratory Rollers

Available in three widths ranging from 66 to 84 in. (167 to 213 cm), these new vibratory rollers provide up to 9,370 lbs. (4,250 kg) of dynamic force. These attachments are for compacting various materials, including sand, gravel, soils and asphalt.

The hydraulic drives are protected and isolated to provide maximum performance and reliability. The steel drum has an adjustable steel scraper blade between the frame and the drum to ensure smooth and uniform performance.

Applications include landscaping, roadways, walkways, bike paths, golf courses, bridges, parking lots and more.

They are available with smooth and pad foot drums.
