AGC of NJ Announces Officers

The Associated General Contractors of New Jersey (AGC of NJ) of Edison, NJ, has elected its officers for 2005-2006. The swearing in ceremony took place on April 30, 2005.

The new president is Raymond Jeffrey Maffei. He is the vice president/regional construction manager of Granite Halmar Construction Company, Mt. Vernon, NY.

“It is my honor to accept the position of president of the AGC of NJ. I look forward to a year of growth, prosperity and good relationships as we strive to make the contracting industry a friendlier and more profitable industry,” said Maffei.

Serving as vice president is Jeffrey Cruz, who is the vice president of E.E. Cruz & Company Inc., from Holmdel, NJ.

The treasurer is Rick Bunker, who is a vice president of Schiavone Construction Company, from Secaucus, NJ.

The secretary is Jeff Waters. Waters is the president of Waters & Bugbee Inc., from Trenton, NJ.

AGC of NJ is a statewide association of heavy-highway construction companies. It was founded in 1936 and is celebrating 69 years as a full service construction association.
