The Delaware Contractors Association (DCA) honored one of its long-time executives at its 40th annual meeting Oct. 28.

The DCA, with the help of Del. Gov. Jack Markell, DCA President Leonard Iacono and Bancroft Construction’s Stephen Mockbee, lauded former DCA Executive Vice President John J. McMahon Jr. for his 27 years of service to the organization. Earlier this year, Gov. Markell appointed McMahon as Delaware’s secretary of labor. During the meeting, Iacono announced that the DCA boardroom will now be known as the John J. McMahon Jr. Boardroom and that DCA scholarships will be awarded with the name, “John J. McMahon Jr. Scholarship.”
