GIE+EXPO combined with the Hardscape North America Tradeshow again for 2013 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Ky., on Oct. 24 and 25. The co-located tradeshows featured more than 700 exhibits situated within 500,000 sq. ft. of space inside the hall as well as live equipment demonstrations conducted within a 19-acre outdoor area adjacent to the exhibit hall. On display and in action were a wide range of outdoor power equipment, including light construction and landscape equipment, and lawn as well as garden and outdoor products.

Advance registration numbers indicated an attendance of more than 18,000 general contractors, landscapers, golf course superintendents, parks and recreation crews and others involved with landscaping, grounds maintenance and relayed services.

Educational seminars, technical training sessions, and workshops were conducted throughout the two-day event. All attendees were invited to attend a free concert sponsored by Nissan Commercial Vehicles and featuring Angie Johnson and Three Dog Night as a part of the evening festivities for the show.
