Highway Equipment Names Thomas H. Reynolds President

Highway Equipment Company has appointed Thomas H. Reynolds as its new president.

Reynolds will have the day to day responsibilities for the company's operations. In addition, he will work with the company's executive team to pursue new market opportunities, and to ensure a high level of service to all customers.

Reynolds has worked throughout the organization in a variety of roles, including the roles of marketing manager and service manager. Additionally, he was responsible for the company's Machine Rental Division. Recently, Reynolds started a new agriculture equipment division for the company.

Daniel L. Reynolds Jr. will continue in his roles as chief executive officer and chairman of the board.

Highway Equipment Company was founded in 1933 by Daniel L. Reynolds Sr. in Pittsburgh, Pa. The company is one of the largest construction equipment distributors in the western half of Pennsylvania. The company serves a variety of industries and markets, including: construction, mining, roadbuilding, the power generation industry and agricultural markets.

Highway Equipment Company sells, rents and supports its services through four divisions: heavy construction equipment, light construction equipment, agricultural equipment and a rental division.
