Hoss Equipment Company Inc, a distributor of new and used heavy earthmoving equipment, is offering a Hammerless Ripper Shank System (H-R-S-S) designed to save time and money with the added benefit of a swift and secure pin system.
Cast with through-hardened alloys, the system is suited for abrasive surface mining conditions. The H-R-S-S contains an oblong positive lock retaining pin, shank, shroud and Slida-Lok tooth.
The unit’s positive lock, heavy-duty retaining pin is reusable, and allows operators to easily change-out in the field. The H-R-S-S tooth profile design allows deeper penetration, yielding more material in most mining applications. It is also safer, since the Slida-Lok tooth can be installed using only a 3/8-in. Allen wrench, which eliminates hammers, pin drivers and welding that can cause injuries.
“This product makes our clients’ jobs safer and less complicated, keeping more money in their pockets as a result,” commented Tom Bagnell, vice president of sales, Hoss Equipment Company.
