Bobcat Company has enhanced its compact excavator lineup with the introduction of the R2-Series E60 compact excavator. The R2-Series E60 offers many of the popular benefits of the R-Series compact excavators as well as a long list of enhanced R2-Series features to help customers meet the increasing demands of today's job sites, according to the manufacturer.

Takeuchi-US has added the TB370 compact hydraulic excavator to its lineup. This machine is the first in Takeuchi's 300 series compact excavator line. The TB370 is in the 6- to 7-ton class and is an ideah machine for a wide range of customers, including general contractors, landscapers, utility contractors and the rental industry, according to the manufacturer.

Mecalac, a global designer, manufacturer and distributor of compact construction equipment for urban environments, introduced the 216MRail, a dedicated compact railroad excavator for railway construction and maintenance. The 216MRail features a leading lifting performance-to-weight ratio for efficiency and productivity on the rails.

Takeuchi-US has launched the TB257FR compact hydraulic excavator. The TB257FR features a side-to-side offset boom combined with a tight tail swing enabling it to rotate fully with very little overhang. This makes it ideal for working in a variety of confined job sites including road and bridge work, city streets and in between buildings, according to the manufacturer.

Doosan Bobcat North America and Green Machine Equipment Inc. , a manufacturer of renewable power drive systems, announced a strategic partnership to produce electric/hydraulic Bobcat compact excavators. Green Machine will custom retrofit Bobcat excavators with its proprietary battery technology to replace the standard diesel power source and will sell the machines in select markets beginning this year.

Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas announced the expansion of its North American authorized dealer network with the addition of Don Allison Equipment Inc. Since 1972, Don Allison Equipment has offered its customers quality products, unmatched customer service, and value pricing, according to the company.

Takeuchi-US 's TB225 compact hydraulic excavator features all steel construction, and provides the operator with best in class engine output that provides more power to increase productivity, according to the manufacturer. The TB225 has operating weight of 4,993 lbs.

At both its indoor and outdoor exhibits at ConExpo-Con/AGG 2020, Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas demonstrated working prototype models of electric-powered compact excavators. The company also is displayed a full range of wheel loaders and excavators, including new and enhanced models.

Caterpillar Work Tools now has a TiltRotate System (TRS) for Cat Next Gen mini-excavators. The new TRS6 and TRS8 models allow attached work tools (including buckets, forks, grapples, brooms and compactors) to rotate 360 degrees and tilt 40 degrees side-to-side, enabling the machine to reach more work areas from a single position, while maneuvering tools over, under and around obstructions when excavating, grading ditches, sorting recycle materials or placing pipe.

LiuGong North America, headquartered in Katy, Texas, has announced the arrival of its first new F-series excavators for dealer review. The 9018F is a reduced tail-swing, 1.9 ton (1.8 t) mini-class excavator presently undergoing evaluation. It has been designed to meet or exceed North American market design specifications.

The Cat 306 CR mini hydraulic excavator marks Caterpillar's entry in the 6-ton class offering.
