Yoder & Frey Heavy Equipment Auctions

Yoder & Frey announced a one day "disposal sale" on behalf of CCU Coal & Construction LLC, at the Zanesville, Ohio, depot on Aug. 20, 2020, with a broad inventory of machinery and equipment that is already drawing attention within the industry.

Yoder & Frey continues to build its team of territory managers with experience in the heavy machinery world, with the latest joiner being Alex Young, who will concentrate on Florida and the surrounding states. Based in Coconut Creek, Fla., Young joins the Yoder & Frey team to focus on developing the brand in the state of Florida, as well as the surrounding states of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia.

The third time was the charm for Yoder & Frey's Marietta Coal Company Owner Liquidation auction held in Saint Marysville, Ohio. After postponing twice due to Coronavirus stay-at-home mandates, the auction went off without a hitch on May 28. According to Trent Shaftner, new business development manager of Yoder & Frey, the sale went extremely well, bringing top dollar for sellers and outstanding equipment bargains for buyers.

Yoder & Frey continues to attract leading industry stalwarts from the U.S. heavy machinery auction world, with Bryan Smith the latest to join the growing team. Assuming the role of account manager, Smith will concentrate on Pennsylvania and surrounding north east states, bringing with him a wealth of industry experience.

The Yoder & Frey 46th Kissimmee, Fla. auction took place from Feb. 12 to 15. The four-day event featured a variety of equipment that was sold in more than 5,000 lots. The first day of the auction featured various pieces of equipment like ATVs, sweepers, brooms, rollers, telehandlers, skid steer loaders, backhoe loaders, wheeled loaders and more.

Yoder & Frey Auctioneers Inc. has strengthened its team with the appointment of Jayson Hutchinson as territory account manager, ahead of the now famous Kissimmee Winter Sales, to assist in expanding new markets and further establishing the Y&F brand in the mid states of Michigan, Indiana and Ohio.

Yoder & Frey held its second Ohio auction at the company's recently opened headquarters facility and auction yard in North Baltimore (Findlay), Ohio, on Sept. 26. With approximately 600 lots up for bid, the auction took full advantage of the facility's paved equipment yard.

As part of the continued development and market expansion, Chris Deason has joined Yoder & Frey (Y&F) to strengthen the team, to focus on the development of the business footprint in the USA, establishing new business relationships, recruiting talent and catapulting the business as a heavy equipment sector "preferred supplier." Deason is an accomplished sales and management professional with more than 23 years of strategic experience in all areas of organizational management and business execution in the heavy equipment industry.

Yoder & Frey held its inaugural auction at the company's new headquarters facility, located at 2384 Grant Road, North Baltimore, Ohio. The auction featured almost 500 lots up for bid and included consignments from Michigan Paving & Materials, Pennsy Supply and the Shelly Company, as well as other area contractors and equipment companies.

Yoder & Frey, auctioneers of heavy construction and agricultural equipment in the U.S. and the founders of the Kissimmee Winter Auction, has reported growth in interest for the upcoming Kissimmee, Fla., sale on May 23, along with many enquires for the inaugural auction on June 6, at the newly acquired headquarters and flagship site in Findlay, Ohio, just off the I-75 at Exit 168.

Yoder & Frey Auctioneers LLC recently announced that it has relocated its headquarters from Holland, Ohio, to a new facility located at 2384 Grant Road, North Baltimore (Findlay), Ohio. The move consolidates the company's headquarters with its Ohio sales site, which was formerly located in Ashland, Ohio.
