Lato Excavation and Tree,  Norwalk, Conn., brought his two best companions, Bruzer, a purebred Pit Bull, and Lucky, a Pit Bull- American Bulldog mix, to the sale. Richard Dantonio, American Home Tech, New Haven, Conn., rested his feet and took a seat in this Caterpillar 350L hydraulic excavator as it was sold for $42,500. While he wasn’t auctioneering, Rick Munter (L), spent his time assisting with other auction duties, including talking to prospective and interested bidders. Ron Cranouski (L), C+C Logging, Windsor, Conn., and Alex Alvarez, AA Industries LLC, East Hartford, Conn., spent their sunny Saturday afternoon at the auction as almost 400 items were being sold. Ron Simmons, Simmons Paving, East Granby, Conn., perused the lots of equipment for sale at the May 7th auction. Sam Sales, owner of The Sales Auction Company LLC, looks around the crowd for the next winning bid. Sam Sales was happy that his second annual spring sale was a complete success. Steve Ayotte (L), Ayotte Brothers Construction,  Windsor Locks, Conn., spent some of his time at the auction talking with Stan Jablonski, Jr. of Leveille’s Auto Recyclers, Somers, Conn. Auctioneer Rick Munter was hard at work during The Sales Auction Company LLC’s public equipment auction on May 7. A large number of potential buyers attended the second annual spring auctionheld by The Sales Auction Company LLC. The auction business isn’t always serious. Dan McHugh, Brookside Equipment Sales, Phillipston, Mass., laughs it up with Sam Sales, Owner of The Sales Auction Company, LLC. Eric Buckland, Hartland H.O.M.E. Improvements, East Hartland, Conn., stood on this Cat 247B Track Skid Steer to get a better view of all the action. John Vasel IV, of J.V. III Construction, Rocky Hill, Conn., gladly obliged to a photo-op. Lenny Bull, Bull Construction, Granby, Conn., attended the auction, which began promptly at 9 a.m. The crowd moves on to the next item for sale as this Caterpillar M318 rubber tire excavator gets sold for $37,500. The Sales Auction Company LLC held an auction at its Windsor Locks, Conn., facility on May 7. The Sales Auction Company specializes in all types of earthmoving and heavy equipment, fleet vehicles, trucks, trailers, landcare and farm equipment sales.

Featured in this year’s spring sale were items from Paganelli Construction Corp., Windsor Locks, Conn., as well as items from other consignors whose pieces were accepted through May 5 in order to bring customers the largest selection available.
