Construction Equipment Guide

With a customer-oriented product policy, KramerAllrad has been in the industry for 75 years and has more than 450 machines running in North America.

Today the company is a manufacturer of all-wheel construction machines. The assortment covers wheel loaders, excavator loaders and mobile excavators of up to 74.5-kilowatt (100 hp) performance strength. In foundation engineering, above ground construction and agriculture industry, KramerAllrad machines prove themselves through their agility, stability and performance strength. Kramer machines have a tight turning radius and the tipping loads never change at full turn or straight ahead.

When Kramer presented the first all-wheel-guided machines 30 years ago, conventional principles were the most popular. In the meantime, however, the industry has decided on the distinct advantages of the all-wheel steering element. KramerAllrad sold more than 10,000 model 312SL machines, making it a leader of the compact construction machines in Europe.

In the field, all-wheel-steered machines are popular because of their agility. The 320 Kramer loader has a turning radius of 2.7 meters (2.9 yds.). The machine safely transports all loads in every steering situation since the undivided vehicle frame prevents the load from shifting its weight when being steered.

In addition, the tilt safety of the loader provides for increased safety. The KramerAllrad loader has a continuous framework, with which the ballast weight at the tail works directly as a counterweight to the loading system and work mechanism. Stability is also ensured when the attachments are used.

In the current Kramer program, all 14 models meet the construction principle as well as the challenges of the international market. This applies to wheeled loaders with buckets of .31- to 2-cubic-meter (.4 to 2.6 cu. yd.) capacity, likewise, as for backhoe/loader or for mobile excavators with 8 to 12 ton payloads. A modular conceived technique is hidden under the design of the KramerAllrad machines.

Decades of work have finally come into expression with the development of propulsion technology in the drives. With the Kramer power optimization system (KOS) the engine and hydraulics can be better coordinated. The driver can concentrate completely on the courses of motion of his work. Optimal strength and speed are always available without shifting.

The Kramer comfort cab of the 20s series with new oscillation isolation, offers a safe entrance and free space to move around in. A principal item of the KramerAllrad compact-excavators is a new hydraulic system, with different performance levels that can be adjusted.

An automatic no-load operation resetting of the diesel engine can be connected during extended work breaks. This saves fuel and preserves the units. The machines are delivered in series with a multi-part adjustment arm. The buckets and forks can be exchanged problem-free with the quick-change mechanism. Kramer has its own design of quick-coupler which takes the hydraulic mechanism out of the dirt.

KramerAllrad markets two wheel loaders with telescopic shooting front-end loaders.

The 418T and the 420T telescopic handlers are true wheel loaders with the capability of reaching 450 and 460 centimeters (177 and 181 in.) of pallet height. Both units come standard with a load-sensing device which allows the operator to know where the machine is available at stability.
