Bomag Americas raised nearly $7,000 during ConExpo-Con/AGG 2020 in Las Vegas, to support Construction Angels, a 501(C)3 non-profit organization. Construction Angels was founded by Kristi Gibbs with the mission of providing immediate financial assistance and grief counseling for the children and spouse of a construction worker fatally wounded on the job site.

The Bomag /Fayat Central Hall exhibit #C30316 will feature more than 10 new products, including path and highway pavers, half-lane mills, single drum and tandem vibratory rollers with alternative drive systems, and vibratory plate compactors. Technology displays will give attendees a glimpse into future possibilities and allow all to experience future technology now available from Bomag.

Construction began in May 2018 on the California Department of Transportation's (Caltrans) $150.7 million Interstate 710 Pavement Rehabilitation and Bridge Widening Project, which was awarded to Flatiron Construction Corporation in February 2018. Crews have been making solid progress on the project that covers a 3.5-mi.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Engineering District 3 continues to work to remedy the challenges created by above average precipitation in north central Pennsylvania. This has occurred since 2016 and has resulted in flooding in many areas.

Road Machinery & Supplies Co. announces the company has been named the Bomag dealer for soil, asphalt and landfill compaction products for the state of Minnesota, with the exception of six counties in southwest Minnesota. The Bomag CR 820 Series of 8-ft. (2.4-m) pavers feature a new operator's platform, new controls and improved visibility. Delivering all the power, versatility and heavy-duty design as previous paver models, a 160-hp (119 kW) diesel engine meets stringent Tier IV Final (Stage V) emissions standards and offers ample reserve to efficiently power all paver functions plus push fully loaded trucks up steep grades.

Thermal segregation — temperature differences in hot mix asphalt (HMA) — and aggregate segregation — the non-uniform distribution of coarse and fine aggregates within the asphalt mixture — can cause premature failure of asphalt roads.

Available in 3- and 4-wheel designs, the Bomag BM 500/15-2 and BM 600/15-2 compact mills feature a reengineered vibration-isolated operator's station that improves operator efficiency and productivity. A new suspension seat with optional heating boasts a 45-degree slewing angle for increased visibility to the left cutting edge and front/rear of the machine.

Bomag reintroduced its 600-hp-class (440-kW) Bomag 2200/60 cold planer with a Tier IV Final (Stage V) engine and multiple productivity enhancing design advancements. The reengineered milling chamber improves the robustness and design of the front material depressor, resulting in increased performance, lower wear and longer component life, according to the manufacturer.

Bomag launched the new BF 200 cart path and small construction site paver, available for the first time in North America. At just 13,228 lb. (6,000 kg) operating weight and 51 in. (129.5 cm) transport width, this compact and nimble paver can be transported to job sites on a trailer.
