Florida Auctions 2019

Over six days, Ritchie Bros. sold a staggering 13,350-plus assets for a record $297 million. A sea of equipment stretched over the 220-acre Ritchie Bros. auction site in Orlando, Fla., from Feb. 18 to 23, 2019, as the company hosted its largest auction ever.

Ritchie Bros.' first Texas auction of 2019 was a huge success, building momentum into the company's massive six-day Orlando, Fla., auction. In total, more than 4,800 equipment items and trucks were sold in the Feb. 12 to 13 Houston, Texas, auction for more than $45 million.

Yoder & Frey held its four-day Florida Auctions Feb. 13 to Feb. 16 in Kissimmee, Fla. Day 1, Feb. 13, featured ATVs, brooms, sweepers, rollers, telehandlers, skid steers and attachments, backhoes, wheel loaders and forestry equipment; Day 2, Feb.

Jeff Martin Auctioneers held its annual four-day winter auctions from Feb. 11 to 14 in Kissimmee, Fla. Bidders from across the country participated, as well as from Central and South America, to vie for a wide variety of machines and attachments. An exhibitor area where the bidders could see new machines from Morooka, Fiori dumpers, Eager Beaver trailers, Gorilla Hammers and more drew a lot of attention.

The nine-day auction featured a wide variety of equipment types each day, including, but not limited to: Recreational and utility vehicles, generators, skid steer attachments on Day 1; Survey equipment, several new tagalongs & utility trailers, several mini-hydraulic excavators and skid steers on Day 2; Boom and scissor lifts, landscape equipment, several mini-hydraulic excavators, trench boxes and new tools and support equipment on Day 3; Agricultural — utility — compact and loader landscape tractors, concrete equipment, utility carts, chippers and stump grinders and agricultural attachments on Day 4; Rough-terrain cranes, carry deck — hydraulic truck cranes, tower cranes, crawler cranes, hydraulic pile drivers and crane accessories on Day 5; Rubber-tired loaders, tractor loader backhoes, motor scrapers, motorgraders, articulated haul trucks, straight haul trucks and asphalt and vibratory rollers on Day 6; Hydraulic excavators, rubber-tired hydraulic excavators, scrap handling excavators, crawler tractors, crawler loaders, pipe layers, and tractor loader backhoes on Day 7; Dump trucks (tri-tandem-single), truck tractors, cab and chassis, rolloff trucks, rollback trucks, bucket trucks, cement mixer trucks, refuse trucks, military tanks, military trucks, pickup trucks and utility trucks on Day 8; and Recreational and utility vehicles, compact construction equipment, generators, pumps, tires and more than 1,000 attachments on Day 9.

Ritchie Bros.' February event in Orlando will welcome buyers and sellers from nearly every corner of the world. Next week Ritchie Bros. aims to do it bigger and better than ever, selling more than 13,400 items in six days for the first time in its history.

Yoder & Frey is seeing interest and growth in the upcoming Florida sale Feb. 13 to 16. Three separate sales rings will be in use across each of the four days to accommodate the volume of quality new, used and surplus equipment being consigned to this auction.
